- Choosing views to portray what the place could look like in the future but still realistic is an important part of winning over the customer. Also how the view is shown by using a near, middle and distant focal point is something that gives the visualization a liveliness and depth. Sometimes it is a good idea to include dirty imagery to make the scene more realistic.
- Working with different styles such as realistic or abstract.
- Using Adobe Color Themes such as complementary colors to make the visualization more pleasing to the eye.
- I learned the importance of visualizing a location in different seasons and at different times of the day and that is something I will take with me when working with visualization in the future.
- When working with visualization design there are often some tough choices to make. Such as how truthful should a visualization be? It can be hard to visualize a location as completely realistic, such as with litter or leaves because when competing for a contract it is usually the most pleasant picture that sells.
